Ensures stable operation of the in-house systems and databases that encompasses OS & SQL platforms MS Windows, IBM iSeries, and Linux systems. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all system software, communication links and limited hardware. This person will also, when needed, assist in analyzing and resolving en user software and hardware computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion, to include providing end user training where required.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or at least five years of experience in database administration. Working technical knowledge of SQL 2008+ and PC operating systems. Working technical knowledge of current systems, hardware, protocols, and standards.
